Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the SocialMesh application and this website, both operated by GOTNULL PTY. LTD.
Last updated: 29 June 2026.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using SocialMesh, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the product or the website.
2. The service
SocialMesh is a communications application that works with Meshtastic devices over local mesh radio networks. Mesh networks are best-effort: message delivery, coverage, and availability are not guaranteed and depend on hardware, terrain, and the nodes in range.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SocialMesh to:
- break any applicable law or radio-spectrum regulation;
- infringe the rights of others or send unlawful content;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any network, device, or system;
- rely on the app for emergency, life-safety, or mission-critical communications.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
SocialMesh offers optional premium features. Where a feature is paid, it is sold and billed through the App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms, and any refunds are handled by the relevant store.
5. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialMesh and this website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure in all circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GOTNULL PTY. LTD. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, SocialMesh or this website.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or discontinue the service, or features of it, and may stop providing the app, at any time. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
